Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients from children to adults.
Offer individual, family, and marital therapy, including crisis intervention and emergency services. Participate in staff conferences, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop tailored therapy programs. Maintain detailed case records and provide patient and family education on adaptation and illness management. Maintain community resource links, provide consultative support to healthcare teams, and ensure documentation complies with standards. Maintain confidentiality and legal record-keeping; some travel may be required. Qualifications: Master’s in Behavioral Science or related field; licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa.
