Job Description
The APRN will provide advanced clinical services, including diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment for both inpatients and outpatients in a clinic and hospital setting, working collaboratively with supervising physicians.
In the cardiology ambulatory setting, the APRN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to manage cardiovascular care and may coordinate with outpatient testing groups like ECHO and stress testing. In inpatient care, the APRN manages patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
The role requires a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical and technical competency, sound judgment, professionalism, effective communication, and timely documentation. The APRN is responsible for maintaining high-quality, safe patient care and ongoing professional development.
