Job Description

Join our team as a Wound Care Physician, responsible for evaluating and managing wound treatment plans for residents in senior living facilities and in-home settings.

  • Perform wound debridement and apply topical wound care treatments at patient locations.
  • Recommend additional services such as labs, imaging, and referrals to support healing.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and supplies, and conduct risk assessments per guidelines.
  • Educate patients on wound care and collaborate with staff and external providers for comprehensive care.
  • Ensure regular skin assessments and contribute to care planning and policy development.

    • Qualifications include active licensure, completion of an accredited wound care program, and state approval for medical tasks. Skills needed are excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. This is a contract, in-person role paying $180-$220/hour.
