The SLP is responsible for conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, recommending communication devices, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Qualifications include a master’s or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology, state licensure or equivalent clinical experience, successful completion of national exams, and at least one year of clinical experience.
