Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients of all ages.
Provide individual, family, and marital therapy, including crisis intervention and emergency services. Collaborate with internal and external team members to evaluate patient needs and plan effective interventions. Maintain detailed case records, document assessments, and interventions in compliance with organizational standards. Educate patients and families on adaptation related to diagnosis and treatment. Maintain confidentiality, stay updated on community resources, and provide consultative support to healthcare teams. Some travel may be required. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure (LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW) in Iowa. This is an in-person position.
