Job Description
The APRN will provide advanced clinical services in collaboration with supervising physicians, including diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment for inpatients and outpatients in both clinic and hospital settings.
In the cardiology ambulatory setting, the APRN works as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage cardiovascular care and may coordinate with outpatient testing groups such as ECHO and stress testing. In inpatient care, the APRN manages patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
The role requires a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical competency, and professionalism, with responsibilities including ensuring safe, quality care, maintaining compliant documentation, and ongoing professional development.
