Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant to join our medical team at Hickory Recovery.

Under supervision, perform comprehensive exams, client assessments, and initial intake evaluations.

Coordinate treatment plans, communicate with the behavioral health team, and manage medical records.

Provide direct patient care, prescribe medications, and develop treatment strategies within legal scope.

Evaluate patient progress, identify emergencies, and refer to specialists as needed.

Maintain HIPAA compliance, accurate documentation, and adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications include a master’s degree in nursing, state licensure, DEA certification, and experience in behavioral health preferred. Must have BLS certification and obtain an X-waiver for prescribing Suboxone.
