Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients aged children and up.
Deliver individual, family, and marital therapies, including crisis intervention and emergency services. Participate in staff meetings, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop evaluation and therapy plans. Maintain detailed case records, document assessments, interactions, and interventions per guidelines. Educate patients and families on coping strategies related to diagnoses and treatment. Maintain liaison with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members. Ensure confidentiality and adhere to legal and organizational record-keeping standards. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field; licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa.
