Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges related to diagnoses and life situations. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, and family therapies. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed. Participate in staff conferences, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop evaluation and treatment plans for patients. Maintain detailed case records, document interactions, and ensure confidentiality. Educate patients and families about adaptation to diagnoses and treatment. Maintain knowledge of community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare teams. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa.
