Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will collaborate with physicians in a hospital-based outpatient pain clinic in Du Quoin, IL, providing care for patients with chronic pain.

This part-time role involves 8-hour shifts with no nights, weekends, holidays, or call, in a fast-paced environment requiring autonomous clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a mix of new and established patients with chronic pain
• Ordering procedures in collaboration with physicians
• Implementing conservative medication management with monitoring tools
• Participating in marketing events such as lunch & learns and staff meetings

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited NP/PA program with national certification
• Full prescriptive authority and DEA eligibility in Illinois
• Motivated, team-oriented, and patient-focused

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay rate of $550-$650 per day
