Job Description

This position is a professional role providing direct patient care within a community health setting, with clinical oversight from physicians and leadership.

  • Requires a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program and current NM Board of Nursing license or Medical Examiner certification, along with DEA, CSR, Medicare, and Medicaid credentials.
  • Must obtain BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days of hire, depending on assigned duties.
  • Compliance with immunization and testing requirements, including TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and influenza, is mandatory.
  • Additional screening includes a criminal records check if assigned to the Checkerboard Area Health System.
