Seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated gastroenterology team in Iowa and Illinois.
Functions include collaborating with physicians and working independently to assess, diagnose, educate, and develop management plans for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans. Collaborate with healthcare teams in outpatient settings. Utilize EHR systems for documentation. Educate patients and families on treatment options and lifestyle changes. Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology and participate in clinical research. Requirements:
MSN or DNP degree and RN licensure in Iowa and Illinois. ACLS certification and certification from recognized boards (ANCC, AANP). 2-5 years outpatient experience preferred; new graduates considered.
