Job Description

The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist provides assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students with communicative challenges to support their learning in a school setting.


They conduct assessments, develop and modify IEP goals, and deliver remediation through individual and group instruction.


Consulting with teachers, parents, and other professionals, they serve as a resource on communicative development and participate in team meetings and voice clinics.


The role includes maintaining compliance with regulations, record-keeping, and ongoing professional development.


Qualifications include a valid California credential for Speech and Hearing Specialists. The position offers full-time or part-time hours, with benefits such as insurance, paid time off, and continuing education. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, in person, in San Jose, CA.
