Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist supports students’ speech and language development to enhance their personal, social, and intellectual growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and monitoring progress
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Developing and implementing communication strategies and programming
- Providing therapy, consultation, and completing necessary documentation
- Maintaining records, ordering supplies, and supervising staff as needed
- Meeting weekly billable hours, completing session notes, and staying current with licensure requirements
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree and CCC-SLP from ASHA
- State licensure and knowledge of HIPAA practices
- Experience with children with autism and administering assessments like ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS
Physical & Work Environment: Prolonged sitting, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and work on feet.
Details: Full-time or part-time, $70,000-$80,000/year, benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and flexible schedule.
Location: In person in Columbus, OH; relocation required before starting.
