Job Description

This full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologist role involves conducting evaluations, diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.

  • Perform assessments using appropriate tests and informal methods, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Provide direct therapy and support for students to improve communication skills, including augmentative and non-oral communication systems.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success and ensure compliance with district and state practices.
  • Participate in meetings such as IEPs, 504 plans, and consultations, maintaining professional ethics and competence.
  • Support diversity and promote research-based best practices in speech and language therapy.
  • Ensure student safety, complete required documentation timely, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
