Job Description
This full-time, contract Speech-Language Pathologist role involves conducting evaluations, diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.
Perform assessments using appropriate tests and informal methods, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports. Provide direct therapy and support for students to improve communication skills, including augmentative and non-oral communication systems. Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and support staff to facilitate student success and ensure compliance with district and state practices. Participate in meetings such as IEPs, 504 plans, and consultations, maintaining professional ethics and competence. Support diversity and promote research-based best practices in speech and language therapy. Ensure student safety, complete required documentation timely, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
