Job Description

The Substance Use Disorder Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Essential duties include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, documenting services, coordinating care, and supporting discharge planning.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field

Active state licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW); addiction-specific certification preferred

Knowledge of evidence-based addiction treatment practices

Strong facilitation, documentation, and crisis intervention skills

Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred

Work involves in-office, residential, and outpatient settings, with shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
