Job Description
The Lead Summer Nurse oversees the Health Center operations throughout the camp season, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of campers and staff.
Provide daily medical care for illnesses and injuries, administer medications, and maintain accurate documentation. Supervise nursing staff, manage supplies, and coordinate with camp leadership and external providers. Ensure compliance with state regulations, ACA standards, and camp policies. Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and handle incident reports. Support camp activities from a medical perspective and monitor health center operations. Qualifications include RN or LPN license, experience with youth, leadership skills, and CPR/AED certification.
