Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a senior living community in Whiting, NJ.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing hearing and speech/language examinations and evaluating test results
  • Diagnosing speech, language, voice, and swallowing impairments and developing treatment plans
  • Educating patients and families on communication strategies
  • Maintaining documentation, writing reports, and coordinating administrative tasks
  • Developing individual and group therapy activities
  • Participating in meetings and planning educational interventions
  • Instructing clients in techniques like sign language, lip reading, or voice improvement

    • Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited therapy program, 3-5 years of experience (or equivalent), and a valid NJ Speech Therapist license.

    This per diem role offers a pay rate of $58-$60/hr and benefits such as a 401k with company match, credit union, voluntary benefits, referral programs, and an employee assistance program.
