Job Description
The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinical setting in Lubbock, TX.
Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions, interpreting diagnostic tests and developing treatment plans. Prescribes medications, offers patient education, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintains accurate documentation, adheres to clinical standards, and participates in quality improvement activities. Requires a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine. Works two days per week, with potential additional shifts, in person, in a clinical environment, with physical requirements including standing and lifting. Ensures high-quality care, teamwork, professionalism, and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Relocation to Snyder, TX is required prior to start.
