Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

The APRN will provide comprehensive clinical services, including diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment for both inpatients and outpatients in a hospital and clinic setting, collaborating with supervising physicians.

Within the cardiology ambulatory setting, the APRN works as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing cardiovascular care for specific populations and supporting outpatient testing such as ECHO and stress tests. In the inpatient setting, they oversee care for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.

The role requires a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, clinical competence, professional judgment, and effective communication. The APRN is responsible for ensuring safe, quality care, maintaining documentation, and pursuing ongoing professional development.
