Job Description

The Behavioral Health Division is seeking an experienced Outpatient Psychiatrist to provide at least 16 hours per week of psychiatric services to individuals with severe mental health challenges.

  • The ideal candidate will be compassionate, collaborative, and have a minimum of three years of outpatient psychiatric experience.
  • Responsibilities include comprehensive medical assessments and supervising therapeutic medication plans.
  • Work as part of a supportive interdisciplinary team focused on high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Administrative support includes nursing, dictation, and clinical consultation from medical leadership.
  • This is an independent contractor role, paid hourly, requiring an active Oregon Medical License, DEA, DMAP, and professional liability insurance.
  • Fringe benefits are not provided. The position is in person in Salem, OR, with 16–32 hours per week.
