Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections (if credentialed), and postpartum follow-up. Care for newborns and offer pediatric services as part of family-centered care. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives. Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention. Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach and call rotations, including after-hours and weekends. Qualifications include MD or DO degree, completed family medicine residency, additional obstetric training, an active medical license, board certification or eligibility, and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO preferred.
