Speech Language Pathologist (School based)

Job Description

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers a $4,000 joining bonus, paid school holidays (Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring), and federal holidays. The role is a 10-month position (August-May).

The SLP will collaborate with OTs, PTs, and other professionals to serve K-12+ students with developmental disabilities and AAC users in educational settings. Responsibilities include providing direct and consultative speech therapy, evaluating students, developing IEPs, programming and maintaining augmentative communication devices, participating in multidisciplinary and IEP meetings, tracking student progress, and maintaining accurate records for Medicaid billing. The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid state licensure and certification, and background clearance. Preferred qualifications include an AZ Hearing Screening Certificate. The work environment is moderately loud, with some clients exhibiting challenging behaviors. The annual salary is $90,000.
