Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX.

Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.

Develops treatment plans, prescribes medications, and educates patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care and maintains accurate documentation.

Participates in staff meetings and quality initiatives while adhering to clinical, ethical, and legal standards.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

The role involves working two days per week onsite, with potential for additional shifts, requiring physical stamina and compliance with safety protocols. Relocation to Snyder, TX is required before start.
