Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.

They develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure culturally responsive, inclusive care.

The role involves conducting evaluations, creating educational materials, providing training, and engaging with families to support client goals.

Essential qualities include strong communication, cultural humility, organizational skills, and professionalism.

The SLP must hold relevant licensure, preferably have experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and be trained in or willing to learn safe physical management techniques.
