Job Description

Seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and educate residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.

  • Provide individualized assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Conduct bedside swallowing evaluations and recommend dietary textures.
  • Deliver therapy, monitor progress, and document care according to policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and educate residents, families, and staff.
  • Supervise assistants and students, ensure compliance with regulations, and promote a positive environment.

    • Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid licensure in Oregon, and preferred CCC-SLP certification or CFY. Prior experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing is desirable. The role involves 10 hours weekly, including weekends.
