Job Description
Seeking a dedicated *Mental Health Therapist* to provide therapeutic services to diverse clients facing psychological challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and personality disorders.
Key duties include crisis intervention, risk assessment, intake evaluations, developing treatment plans, and conducting individual, group, and family counseling. The role involves monitoring client progress, providing psycho-education, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, while demonstrating cultural competence.
Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate documentation, preparing progress reports, billing, and activity summaries.
Qualifications require a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Psychiatry, current Michigan licensure, at least 2 years of post-master’s experience preferred, and reliable transportation. The position is contract-based, part-time (20 hours/week), with pay between $35-$55/hour, located in Grand Rapids, MI, requiring in-person work and the ability to pass a drug screen.
