Job Description
The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles and addiction-free living.
Essential duties include conducting comprehensive assessments, assisting clients with treatment planning, providing individual, family, and group counseling, and connecting clients to community resources. The counselor educates high-risk populations, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with other agencies to enhance services.
