Job Description
The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) provides expert family-centered care for infants and toddlers up to age 2, covering primary, acute, chronic, and critical care needs.
Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and management of neonatal illnesses, including ordering and interpreting labs and imaging.Advocates for patients and families, promoting education, health promotion, and self-management, while integrating culturally diverse and developmental considerations.Leads care management, communicates effectively with team members, and makes appropriate referrals.Participates in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and uses evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.Utilizes informatics for communication and decision-making, and demonstrates leadership through mentorship, committee involvement, and professional development.Requires a BSN, MSN/NNP degree, RN and APRN licensure, board certification, and experience in neonatal care, with certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS preferred.Benefits include competitive salary, health and retirement plans, paid time off, and relocation assistance.
