Job Description
The Occupational Mentor Certification Program (OMCP) is a correctional education initiative providing substance use disorder training and certification to incarcerated individuals, helping them become Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselors in California.
The OMCP Internship Supervisor supports daily operations, supervises participants during internships, and ensures accurate tracking of hours and credentials. This full-time role reports to the Program Director and requires on-site presence, overseeing program activities, monitoring participant progress, assisting with certification processes, and collaborating with staff and contractors.
Qualifications include being a certified AOD Counselor with at least five years of experience, strong communication, organizational skills, and passing background checks.
