Job Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides direct patient care to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a clinical setting.
Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and obtain physician approvals.
Deliver patient-centered treatments, document progress, and communicate with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families.
Supervise clinical staff and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
Contribute to team meetings, patient education, and discharge planning.
Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge through continuing education.
Promote a positive facility culture, demonstrate safe practices, and uphold professional standards.
