Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Home-Based Therapist to deliver intensive in-home therapy to children, adolescents, and families in Bad Axe, Michigan.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical assessments and developing individualized family service plans
- Conducting regular home visits to teach parenting, model behavior management, and provide therapy
- Maintaining monthly face-to-face contact with families and acting as a liaison with community agencies
- Offering crisis stabilization and documenting progress
- Linking families to community resources and participating in program planning
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology with Michigan licensure (e.g., LLMSW, LMSW)
- At least 2 years of experience working with children and families preferred
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to complete Infant Mental Health endorsement
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
