Job Description
The Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy, documenting progress, collaborating with staff, and educating residents and families.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, valid licensure, preferred CCC-SLP certification, and experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing.
This role involves 10 hours/week, including weekends, and emphasizes fostering a positive, team-oriented environment to enhance residents’ quality of life.
