Job Description

Seeking a Director of Social Services for a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Placerville, CA, providing acute care for adults with serious mental illness.

**Responsibilities:**
• Lead and manage the Social Services Department, including staff supervision, policy development, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and liaise with hospitals and community resources.
• Oversee quality assurance, staff training, and foster effective internal and external relationships.
• Manage departmental budget and participate in strategic planning.
• Ensure safe, therapeutic care and maintain legal and licensing standards.

**Qualifications:**
• Master’s in Social Work, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license.
• Minimum two years of direct mental health experience and supervisory experience.
• CPR, CPI, and First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Valid California driver’s license and insurability.
