Job Description

Seeking a Director of Social Services for a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric facility serving adults with mental illness.

Lead and manage the Social Services Department, overseeing staff, casework, discharge planning, and coordination with hospitals and community agencies.

Ensure compliance with regulations, develop policies, and maintain quality assurance programs.

Coordinate admission/discharge processes and foster relationships with local mental health services.

Supervise staff recruitment, training, and performance; manage departmental budget.

Provide clinical leadership, support crisis intervention, and promote high standards of care.

Qualifications: Master’s in Social Work, LCSW/LMFT/LPCC license, 2+ years supervisory experience, and relevant clinical experience. Must be CPR, CPI, and First Aid certified.

Details: Full-time, day shift, in-person in Placerville, CA. Salary ranges from $92,816 to $115,000 with benefits, sign-on bonus, and opportunities for professional growth.

Physical demands: Occasional lifting, bending, and manual tasks.
