Family Medicine Physician

Job Description

The Family Medicine Physician provides comprehensive primary care in an ambulatory clinic setting, focusing on patient-centered, evidence-based services across all ages.

Assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up on acute and chronic conditions.

Deliver preventive care, screenings, immunizations, and women’s health services.

Manage chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension.

Order, interpret tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.

Coordinate care with specialists and staff, document accurately in EMR, and participate in quality initiatives.

Supervise clinical staff, participate in on-call duties, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications: MD/DO with residency, board eligibility/certification, licensure, DEA, BLS, and preferred outpatient experience, especially in underserved settings.

Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, cultural competence, EMR proficiency, and organizational skills.

Work Environment: Clinical office, may involve standing, lifting, and travel between sites.

Compensation & Benefits: $200K-$250K, health/dental/vision/life insurance, CME, loan repayment, paid time off, retirement, and malpractice coverage.
