Job Description
The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions; order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management, nutrition, and lifestyle.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to legal and ethical standards, and participate in training and quality initiatives.
Requires a Master’s in Nursing, active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least 1 year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
Schedule is 2 days/week, 8 hours/day, with potential for additional shifts. The role is on-site, requiring physical stamina and safety awareness. Candidates must be willing to relocate before starting. The position emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and delivering patient-centered care.
