Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in residents of a skilled nursing facility.
Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy services, performing swallow assessments, and educating residents, families, and staff.
The SLP collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes, monitors progress, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications required are a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current licensure, CCC-SLP or CFY status, with preferred experience in geriatric care.
The role involves working in a skilled nursing environment, promoting team-based care, and may include supervising clinical fellows or assistants.
Position is a contract role, paying $2,000-$2,300 weekly, and requires in-person work.
