Job Description
Seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with cardiac-trained or TEE experience to serve at two hospitals and four surgery centers in Hickory, NC.
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care, including general and regional techniques, for various outpatient procedures and cardiac surgeries like CABGs and valves, with a busy TAVR program. Conduct patient evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and monitor intra- and post-operative recovery. Supervise nurse anesthetists and mentor trainees, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes. Perform procedures such as venous/arterial punctures, intubation, and airway management. Requires MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, minimum 3+ years high-acuity experience, and NC license. Strong regional skills preferred. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication, teamwork, and a commitment to patient safety in a dynamic environment.
