Job Description

Seeking a psychiatrist to join a dedicated team caring for an underserved adult population at a 23-hour Crisis Stabilization Unit in Vista, San Diego.

Our multi-specialty group focuses on high-risk, underserved individuals, offering flexible schedules and opportunities for professional growth across various care levels.

**Role:** Provide initial, follow-up, and discharge services for adults in crisis, including involuntary and voluntary clients, with supervision of a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Collaborate with social workers, nurses, peer support, and other providers.

**Experience:** Clinical expertise in Emergency, Consult Liaison, or Inpatient Psychiatry required. Must be ABPN Board Eligible with active, unrestricted California Medical & DEA licenses. No recruiters or H1B/J1 candidates.

**Schedule:** In-person 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, starting April 2026. Full and part-time roles available with competitive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, CME funds, and malpractice coverage.

**Compensation:** $350,000 – $370,000 annually, prorated for part-time.

**Requirements:** Willingness to work onsite at Vista CSU.
