Job Description

The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NNP or PA) provides leadership in neonatal resuscitation, develops care plans for NICU patients, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.

Work involves 24/7 coverage with 12- or 24-hour shifts, no formal call but a supportive team culture.

Key clinical duties include neonatal assessment, resuscitation, managing treatments, admissions, transfers, and family communication.

Non-clinical activities encompass quality improvement, education, simulation, outreach, and committee participation.

Essential skills involve advanced resuscitation, line placements, ventilator management, and procedures.

Qualifications include completion of an approved NP/PA program, relevant licensure, certifications, minimum two years NICU experience, and EMR proficiency.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to PPE.
