Job Description

The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NNP or PA) plays a leadership role in neonatal resuscitation, care planning, and management within a 24/7 NICU.
They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, admit, treat, and discharge neonates, ensuring family-centered care and participating in quality improvement activities.
The position involves both clinical duties—such as neonatal resuscitation, invasive procedures, and patient assessments—and non-clinical responsibilities like education, quality projects, and committee participation.
Work hours include day and night shifts with flexible scheduling, and the provider is expected to maintain certifications, licensure, and compliance with hospital policies.
Required qualifications include certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, specialized neonatal experience, and proficiency with EMR systems.
The role emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, continuous learning, and adherence to safety and organizational standards.
