Job Description
The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NNP or PA) provides leadership in neonatal resuscitation and develops care plans for NICU infants in a 24/7 shift schedule, including day and night coverage.
They perform neonatal assessments, manage acute and ongoing care, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Additional duties include participating in quality improvement, educational activities, telemedicine support, and mentoring staff.
Required skills encompass advanced resuscitation, line placements, ventilator management, and procedures.
Qualifications include certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, licensure in Oregon, and minimum two years of NICU experience.
Non-clinical activities involve projects, education, and committee participation.
