Job Description

Seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist in Greenville, NC, with potential for partnership and a signing bonus.

  • Provide anesthesia for a wide range of cardiac surgeries, including CABG, valves, TAVRs, LVADs, and ECMO, excluding transplants.
  • Lead patient evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and oversee perioperative care.
  • Supervise and collaborate with anesthesia team members and surgical staff.
  • Perform pre- and post-operative assessments, airway management, and monitor vital signs.
  • Mentor residents, fellows, and anesthesia assistants.

    Candidates should have MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, cardiothoracic fellowship in progress, NC medical license, and 3+ years of high-acuity anesthesia experience.

    Ideal candidates possess excellent communication, commitment to safety, and teamwork skills. The role involves Monday-Friday schedule with call obligations in a leading Level 1 Trauma Center, offering a dynamic, patient-centered environment.
