Job Description

Seeking a part-time, contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (16-24 hours/week, in-person in Riverside, CA) to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment for children and adolescents within a Behavioral Health Services program.

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for young clients.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, providing follow-up and education.
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, families, and the treatment team.
  • Maintain clinical documentation per agency, state, and federal standards.
  • Provide clinical leadership and coverage as needed.

  • Requirements include a valid California medical license, board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, and experience working with diverse youth populations. Bilingual skills are desirable. Compensation ranges from $210-$230/hour, with flexible scheduling. This role supports a community-based, strengths-focused approach aligned with the agency’s mission to serve vulnerable children and families.
