Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX.

  • Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Develops individualized treatment plans, prescribes medications, and offers patient education on disease management and lifestyle changes.
  • Collaborates with physicians and team members to ensure coordinated care and adheres to clinical, ethical, and legal standards.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, participates in staff meetings and quality initiatives, and supports clinic efficiency.
  • Requires a Master’s or higher in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
  • Work schedule is two days per week, with potential for additional shifts, performed on-site in a clinical environment.
