Psychiatrist

Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite adult inpatient position in Alton, IL.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 37.5 hours/week with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours call
• 100% onsite in a secure clinical setting
• Average caseload: ~22 patients per day

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $210–$225
• Estimated annual: $450,000–$470,000

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing treatment
• Manage psychopharmacology and document medication changes
• Complete progress notes, evaluations, and reports
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in treatment planning and reviews

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Illinois medical license, DEA, and Controlled Substance license
• Preferred inpatient psychiatry experience
• Comfortable working in a structured, secure environment
