Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Description

Seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time, on-site urgent care role in North Carolina.

Providers work independently as the sole clinical staff, managing acute and episodic patient care with established protocols, support teams, and access to leadership.

Clinical duties include assessing, diagnosing, treating conditions, performing procedures (e.g., laceration repair, splinting), ordering labs/imaging, prescribing medications, and patient education.

The environment supports an average of 3–4 patients/hour with fully equipped clinics, electronic records, and efficient workflows.

Schedule: 3 shifts/week (12 hours), rotating weekends, no on-call, with flexible self-scheduling and opportunities for additional hours.

Compensation ranges from $55–$70/hour (~$103K–$131K/year) with incentives; benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, CME allowance, student loan assistance, and more.

Qualifications: NC licensure, BLS/ACLS, 1+ years urgent care or emergency experience preferred.
