Seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time, on-site urgent care role in North Carolina.
Provide acute and episodic care independently in a fast-paced environment, managing patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and procedures like laceration repairs and splinting. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on follow-up and preventive care. Work with a support team, clinical protocols, and access to leadership, with established workflows and diagnostics on-site. Schedule includes 3 shifts/week (12 hours), rotating weekends, with no on-call duties, and flexible scheduling options. Compensation ranges from $55–$70/hour, with annual earnings of $103K–$131K plus incentives, and benefits such as insurance, 401(k), CME, and more. Qualifications include NC licensure/certification, BLS/ACLS, and preferred urgent care or emergency medicine experience.
