Job Description

Seeking a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (NNP or PA) to lead neonatal resuscitations, develop care plans for NICU patients, and participate in quality improvement and educational activities.

Work involves 24/7 coverage with 12- or 24-hour shifts, primarily at Bend NICU, with no formal call requirements.

Key duties include neonatal assessment, resuscitation, management, family communication, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Clinical skills required include intubation, line placements, ventilator management, and procedures like thoracentesis.

Non-clinical activities may involve QA/QI projects, staff training, outreach, and committee participation. Must maintain certifications, licensure, and meet physical requirements.

Qualifications include 2+ years NICU experience, appropriate licensure, certifications, and proficiency with EMR systems. The role emphasizes leadership, professionalism, and teamwork in a family-centered care environment.
